An unsanitary period apartment was completely gutted and rebuilt to meet modern requirements of accommodation. In order to retain the special charm of the living spaces, characteristic style elements, such as the existing box-type windows and double-wing doors, were retained and extensively renovated. A current standard of living was created by modern home technology installations, such as underfloor heating, new plumbing, electrical and water installations, etc. Bathroom, toilet and kitchen were completely rebuilt and refurbished and all surfaces renewed. A new herringbone parquet visually creates the connection between old and new, the sophisticated lighting concept creates a cozy atmosphere.
