The two-storey house was built on a narrow and long plot typical of Burgenland. The arrangement of the building structures of the ground floor and upper floor form a light-filled courtyard house with large-scale glass facades.
The two inner courtyards on the ground floor and the pool terrace reaching into the garden let the boundaries between interior and exterior disappear and enhance the feeling of space. The open space concept is structured by various split levels and an acoustic ceiling made of oak wood in the areas of entrance, kitchen and dining area as well as living room. The floor is poured throughout in Pandomo except for the living room.
The upper floor is divided into a master suite with en suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe, a children’s wing with two rooms and separate bathroom and an open work space. Also this floor is flooded with light through large glass surfaces, among other corner glazing and skylights, and allows always a view to the outside.
